Administration: The FDA-approved method is a subcutaneous injection (under the skin) into the abdomen or thigh, at least 45 minutes before anticipated sexual activity.
Dosage: No more than one dose (1.75 mg) should be taken within 24 hours, and no more than eight doses per month.
